Issue of ICRIS delayed
Unfortunately, technical problems have meant that we have had to cancel issuing ICRIS version 8.1.0.0. In place of version 8.1.0.0, we will now issue version 8.1.0.2 in December. During the course of December, we will send you the new ICRIS. If you have not received it by the end of January, please get in touch.

ICRIS support
In addition to the ICRIS updates that we issue every three months, we are also continuously enhancing the software. This is only possible with a Windows XP version with Service Pack 2 or higher. This means that, in the future, ICRIS will probably no longer run optimally if you use Windows 95 or 98. To prevent problems with ICRIS, we recommend that you upgrade to a newer Windows version. You can update the system with Service Pack 2 via Windows Update on the following website: www.update.microsoft.com. If you have a computer without an internet connection or if you would like to update multiple computers, you can also download the Service Pack 2 from: www.microsoft.com/downloads Microsoft recommends that you install Service Pack 3, which can be downloaded from: www.microsoft.com/downloads

Changes to international freight conditions
Changes will be made to the international freight conditions known as INCO terms as of
1 January 2011. Four old ones will be replaced by two new ones, namely:
DAT – Delivered At Terminal for transport by water.
DAP – Delivered At Place for transport by road.
DAT replaces DEQ – Delivery Ex Quay.
DAP replaces DDU – Delivered Duty Unpaid, DES – Delivered Ex Ship and DAF – Delivered At Frontier.
The new rules comprise, in brief, the following:
DAT: The seller organises the export permit, ensures that the goods are correctly packaged when delivered to the destination terminal, pays all transport costs for the transport to the destination terminal and takes care of unloading at the terminal.
The buyer organises the import permit and transport from the terminal.
DAP: The seller organises the export permit, ensures that the goods are correctly packaged when delivered to the destination and pays all transport costs to the destination.
The buyer organises the import permit and takes care of unloading the goods.

Alteration to the indication of contents on Lightweight Putty 6010 cans
The indication 1.3kg on the cans of Valspar Automotive Lightweight Putty 6010 appears to be the source of some confusion. In order to prevent such confusion in the future, we have decided that, from now on, the cans will bear the volume indication ‘1L’. The contents of the cans remain unchanged, as they always contained 1L of putty.

Special discount on measuring sticks

We currently have a fairly large stock of measuring sticks. Because we would prefer to keep our stocks as low as possible, we are now selling these sticks at discount prices. If you buy between 1 and 100 sticks, the price is €0.50 each. If you buy between 101 and 500, the price is a mere €0.30 per stick. This offer applies to the following measuring sticks:
