Special Awards at Valspar Lelystad

Four employees of Valspar Lelystad received early June 2012 the prestigious 'Award of Excellence’. These employees have demonstrated an ongoing and outstanding performance in the quality of their work. This award is intended as a recognition of the individual high performance of an employee.  

Nomination
To be eligible for the 'Award of Excellence’, an employee must be nominated by a colleague or supervisor. A committee investigates with at least six close colleagues whether the nominee excels on the following points: to exceed expectations of their function, customer orientation, quality and speed, support from colleagues and safety. Worldwide, the Valspar Corporation has approximately 10,000 employees. Annually, up to a maximum of 90 people receive the Award of Excellence.

Winners
At Valspar Lelystad, the following persons received the Award of their senior: Erwin Halfwerk manager, order office; Shaun Took, sales & customer support; Martin van Zanten, operations manager and Ab Schierbeek, senior technical consultant (not on the picture). In addition to the Award they also received a voucher for a dinner with their family.
